microsoft uaa bus hd audio

Microsoft UAA Bus for HD Audio

My new computer is looking for this driver. I've read all the articles on the Microsoft web site,(Audio Device Technologies for Windows http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/audio/default.mspx ) but it doesn't explain how I can get the driver. I've disabled the device in the control panel so I don't see the "new hardware" found dialog. Is there a driver?

It's a long shot, but have you tried to see if you can somehow install this: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=901105
Good luck, Jonathan

I will give it some thought... My vendor is no help, Intel is no help... I guess I will wait for Vista to be released. Thanks for your help. All my searching for a solution did not bring up the article you suggested. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com
